INSPIRATION
When we moved into our 1920s row house in a charming, nature-filled neighborhood, we knew it was the perfect place to settle down. With three bedrooms, two baths, a garage, and a rare walk-in closet for San Francisco, it had great bones, but I wanted to add some historic charm

BEDROOM
Inspired by a jewel box. I wanted to wake each morning feeling invigorated and refreshed – shining like a citrine gem. A seamless blend of classic + contemporary – my primary suite is my very own wonderland.

BATHROOM
A mix of Persian perfection and masculine modernity my bathroom serves as a sanctuary right at home. The finishes create a juxtaposed visual that’s both bold and calming.

KITCHEN
Nothing makes me happier than a styled kitchen. My black cabinets set the stage against a countertop of Taj Mahal granite. The brass half moon pulls and fluted hood add to the allure.

OPEN SHELVING
To enhance a focal point in my kitchen, I opted for custom open brass bistro shelving, inspired by the sleek designs in upscale restaurants. It combines style and practicality, offering storage for cookbooks, plates, and more while adding a touch of whimsy. Years later, I still love how it pairs with my Tricorn Black cabinets and half-moon brass cabinet hardware. The shelving is perfect for switching up seasonal decor or refreshing the space whenever the mood strikes—proving that with a little planning, your space can be both functional and beautiful.
GALLERY WALLS
A curated DIY gallery wall can elevate any room, and I’m here to share my favorite ideas and pro tips to help you create one. Art is key to a room’s success, and a gallery wall can add character, fill empty spaces, and showcase your personality. You don’t need an expensive collection—just a printer, thrifted frames, and canvas paper. With careful layout, smart placement, and a few DIY tricks, you can craft a stunning gallery wall – just like mine. With more than five gallery walls in my home I have tried every layout and style imaginable. This hallway design is my favorite as it feels curated while being both cohesive and uniquely mine.

TAKE A CLOSER LOOK
DUTH DOOR
When we moved into our 1920s row house in a charming, nature-filled neighborhood, we knew it was the perfect place to settle down. With three bedrooms, two baths, a garage, and a rare walk-in closet for San Francisco, it had great bones, but I wanted to add some historic charm. I quickly added arches, a fireplace, a breakfast banquette, a new bathroom, and even a box molding shelf. While the upgrades came together, one thing eluded me: updating the builder-grade door to a Dutch door for added charm and a way to let in all the magic of the Twin Peaks view just beyond our front door into our living room. The sunset literally sets in my lap each evening now.

STAIRWELL
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect wallpaper to transform my drab stairwell and pass thru space Gallery Wall. After sifting through hundreds of samples, I finally found the one—the Crane Fonda ‘Black Gold’ wallpaper by from the DivineSavages. With its stunning silver-crowned crane against a rich black background, it’s bold yet calming, and the design is just perfect for the space. Wallpaper is such an easy way to add personality and create a “wow” moment without breaking the bank. This design truly made my stairwell sing and it just took a little bit of elbow grease, some patience and a few days of work. If I can do it you can too.
FIREPLACE
I absolutely adore my new fireplace—it brings warmth, charm, and personality to our living room, especially on those chilly San Francisco mornings. While we debated the investment, we ultimately realized a fireplace is something we could enjoy year-round in the city. The design is sleek and minimal, with a custom insert from Blaze Fireplaces and an angular mantle that keeps the spotlight on the fire itself. The installation process involved permits and professional help, but it was totally worth it. Now, I love changing up the mantle with new artwork, flowers, and vintage finds, keeping the space fresh and inviting seaon to season.
