Okay, has anyone else noticed that the summer weather has been unbearably warm lately? If you’re anything like me, you have been dying for a refreshing day in cool water with an iced coffee. Well, I found the best swimming spots along the Russian River that I shared in my latest blog post. Make sure you check these out next time you’re in Northern California. On another note, I have been looking into environmentally friendly, resilient flooring for the cabin. It has to be gorgeous and affordable. So I was excited when I stumbled upon my friends at Beautifully Responsible, who specialize in a category of flooring that includes different options for you to choose from, such as Cork, Linoleum, Rigid Luxury Vinyl Tile, Rubber, Sheet Vinyl, and even Vinyl Composition Tile. One of the best things about resilient flooring (in my opinion) is that you don’t necessarily need to hire a professional to install it for you. That doesn’t mean you can’t, but if you have the time and want to save a few bucks, doing it yourself is always an option. It’s a great option if you want durable, solid floors as we need at the cabin on a budget. Check em out!
Moving on to another interior design mood board – I found this traditional contemporary living room design by Arceri Interiors.
